Sure, it’s a big day, but this trail is gorgeous every step of the way. Many people do this as a 2 or 3-day backpacking trip, but if you are fit and fast, the Paintbrush Canyon – Cascade Canyon Loop can be done as a day hike. At 20 miles, with over 4,000 feet of elevation gain, it’s a hefty hike. ![]()
